VPD Lieutenant Mike Treanor - R.I.P.

It is with deep regret to inform you that twenty three year veteran of the Venice Police Department, Lt Mike Treanor passed away on March 20, 2008.  Mike was diagnosed with cancer in late 2006.  After battling the cancer and returning to duty in 2007, Mike was promoted to Lieutenant.

Mike Treanor leaves behind a wife and daughter.  

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday March 25, 2008 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Ewing Funeral Home located at 140 E. (on the Island of Venice) Venice Ave, Venice

Funeral will be on March 26, 2008 1:00 pm at Epiphany Cathedral located 350 Tampa Ave Venice with interment following at Venice Memorial Gardens.  

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Habitat For Humanity
