Rick -- Hope all is well with you and yours.

Just read the article in the SHT about you and your mayor...hope you
know what you're doing.

From the outside looking in, it looks like the disperate acts of a guy
that will lose his seat in the next election at worse; at best a guy that
wants to reverse the will of the people from the last election; just my
take on it.

The SHT's statement about Marty's tells specifically
he is for who ever is in charge -- "In an interview, City Manager
Marty Black, who was with Tacy at the time, said he, too, saw the gathering,
though he said he did not know what, if anything, was discussed."

He understands that the council will shift to the Mayor and the new member's
position totally in the next election, and just wants to continue his at his
job.

Further, unless you can dig up a witness to agree with what you
claim to have seen, it's a "he and she said v a he said" situation, and you'll
be hold nothing..

Tread lightly, Rick. Would hate to see you lose even bigger than it seems
the tide is taking you and Venice, especially over something that you will
clearly lose, unless of course that witness shows up
