I have been telling you folks for a while now, that now is the time to get good, informed, intelligent, well spoken, honest residents to prepare to run for council in the Fall. If you start getting complacent, the CQG will be in your face again. They are still the majority. This next election is critical to the future. Osmulski was the "in crowd" candidate when he ran before and I doubt anything has changed. His handling of the "Envision Venice" process was a fiasco according to resident feedback. He was accompanied to almost every forum and public speaking engagement when he ran previously by his political mentor, Dean Calamaras.
