Am I to understand that the HT consulted their lawyers, were told they had the right to attend the meeting, but because the Mayor didn't "give them his permission", they just curled up and stayed home? If they felt they had a legal right why didn't they send representatives to the meeting and see if the Mayor refused them entry. I don't see how the Mayor of a city can give or withhold entry to a facility under the control of the Federal Govt. If the Feds tell you they ain't letting you in to their building, I doubt you are getting in. If they aren't bound by the state laws what's the Mayor supposed to do about it? If I were Ed Martin I would say, "come right along, but I don't get to say who goes through that \Federally controlled door." Now our Mayor is supposed to contend that state law supervenes over Federal?
