Shucks,ya got me. It was all a figment of my imagination. I dreamed it all up one night when I had this nightmare that this "in group" of people controlled the Venice City Govt. and did all sorts of strange deals that benefited their cronies at the expense of taxpaying residents and hardly anyone else even recognized it,much less protested. Even the newspapers didn't want the story, they said it must have been something I ate. Funny, I've been starting to have recurrences of that silly dream.
