HT and FAA Meeting

John, You got the story wrong. Ms. Hackett asked to attend our meeting at City Hall yesterday in preparation for our trip to Orlando today. I welcomed his in to the meeting. She said during that time that she planned to attend the FAA meeting today. I said the City had no objection at all. Fred Watts immediately contacted the FAA to ask them to include Ms. Hackett on the list. They replied that they preferred to meet with the principals but would brief reporters after the meeting on the FAA's views. Fred Watts forwarded that email to me and I immediately forwarded it to Ms. Hackett and Zac Anderson from the HT to alert them. This morning after city conversations with the FAA, City Attorney Bob Anderson, replied to an HT attorney that the FAA and the City welcomed her attendence. She did so. I don't know where you got the information which led you to think I did not want her to attend. Ed Martin
