I understand from news reports that Toyota plans to send replacement pedals to fix the "acceleration" problems to factories first rather than to the dealerships. This is unconscionable behavior on their part. The cars being built are not on the roads yet thus not endangering people's lives. The parts should go first to repair the cars of people who are already driving vehicles that may put their lives at risk. The govt should demand that cars already on the road be a priority. They should replace these pedals, not "repair" them as they have proposed. If Toyota does not step up to the plate on this issue, I will never consider them when time to purchase a new car rolls around.
